16 Days of Activism Campaign

 

Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education (PAGE)  in collaboration with the American Refugee Committee (ARC) embarked upon a 16 Days of Activism Campaign for the promotion of gender equity in education from 25th November to 10th December. The campaign engaged over 60 volunteers to conduct activities with children in 7 different underprivileged schools around Islamabad.

The campaign aimed to empower children by engaging them in nutrition, hygiene, sports, arts and reading activities that were all organized around the theme of gender and safe education.

The campaign was concluded with a final reflection workshop at Inductin, National institute for Science and Technology Education (NISTE) where students shared their experiences and learned from each other.
