PAGE encourages young students to come forward as volunteers and work for the betterment of society. PAGE and the Capital University of Science & Technology (CUST) have signed an MOU through which the students from diverse backgrounds are placed in PAGE for completing 65 hours of volunteer work. Students can volunteer for knowledge creation through research, improvement in digital marketing and IT, they can create content for the website and volunteer for various activities in the communities of STAR Schools.

Through the Volunteer in Service (VIS) program, PAGE makes sure that the volunteers learn from the field activities, as PAGE believes that volunteering initiatives are a great way to incentivize people to give up their time while contributing to both the personal and broader community resilience.

Volunteer in Service program fosters a sense of voluntarism in young people so they understand the value of their contribution to society’s development and the eradication of social ills like poverty and illiteracy.

PAGE has hosted an orientation session for the students of the CUST. In the orientation, the volunteers were briefed regarding the work of PAGE and the field activities that were designed for them. Students were also given a brief session on mental health and safeguarding.
