Sangtani Women Rural Development Organization (SWRDO) is a Non-profit, non- political, non-religious and non-government organization struggling for sustainable development. It involves general public, organizations and individuals and operates without discrimination on the basis of religion, race, colour, nationality and ethnicity. SWRDO registered under Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Act 1961 with Social Welfare Dept on 09-September 1997, Registration Number: DDSW (DGK) 97 / 181 of 1997. SWRDO is a rights based, Humanitarian and Development Organization and actively working in the sector of WASH, Disaster risk management and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRM & DRR), Food security, Agriculture, Income Generation, livelihood, Reproductive Health, Education and service delivery for deprived and vulnerable families.
SWRDO is a tax exempted and certified organization of Pakistan Center for Philanthropist (PCP). SWRDO recently signed a MoU with Economic Affairs Divisions (EAD), Federal Government of Pakistan for the implementation of foreign funded projects in Punjab Province of Pakistan. Currently 65 sectorial expert staff members of SWRDO are managing / implementing 06 projects in District Rajanpur, DeraGazi Khan and Multan.
SWRDO using Management Information system (MIS) and Financial Information System (FIS) web based Online registered / purchased Software in the light of approved financial policy according to International accounting standard of INGO and UN Organizations.SWRDO has experienced and highly qualified relevant sector expert human resource which possesses demonstrated skills to handle the projects / programs technically as well as financially according to set TORs and to the complete satisfaction of funding partners.
SWRDO all interventions, covering to “Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s)” and organization implementing all its projects / programs through community mobilization, community participation and ensure community contribution for the purpose of community ownership and sustainability. SWRDO implementing its interventions accord to sphere standards and HAP (Humanitarian Accountability Partnership) principals. SWRDO established a “Complaint Response Mechanism” in all their projects / program to ensure the proper project implementation at internal (Project Management Team) and at grassroots level beneficiaries. As per SOP’s SWRDO ensure transparency and accountability in the all stages of project implementation.
