Her early exposure to community-level challenges has deeply informed her understanding of barriers to education, gender equity, and social development. At the same time, her work with national and international stakeholders has strengthened her ability to navigate complex program requirements, partnerships, and accountability frameworks.
Her experience spans program planning and implementation, team leadership, monitoring and evaluation, and stakeholder coordination. She works closely with teams, partners, and institutions to maintain program quality, strengthen systems, and support consistent delivery across diverse contexts.
Wajeeha also brings practical experience in program budgeting and resource management, contributing to transparency and informed decision-making while maintaining operational flexibility.
Her academic background, including an MPhil in Political Science, complements her field experience with a strong understanding of governance and development systems.

Operations Lead
I am a humanitarian and development professional with over nine years of experience in operations, procurement, logistics, and program implementation across NGOs, INGOs, and the corporate sector. A Silver Medalist, I hold a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Sargodha, reflecting my strong academic foundation and commitment to continuous growth. Since beginning my professional journey in 2015, I have contributed to a wide range of development initiatives, including education, skills development, health, youth empowerment, GBV awareness, and livelihoods, with a focus on supporting vulnerable and marginalized communities. Prior to my current role, I served as Senior Program & Operations Officer at ALIGHT (formerly American Refugee Committee), where I contributed to enhancing operational efficiency and supporting large-scale program delivery. I have consistently worked to streamline operational systems, strengthen procurement processes, and ensure audit readiness under tight deadlines. I bring the ability to bridge programmatic and operational functions, enabling teams to deliver impactful and sustainable results. Through my work, I aim to support organizations in operating more effectively while contributing to meaningful social change and inspiring others to pursue purpose-driven careers.
Partnerships Lead
Maleeha Zaidi is a dynamic Grant Writer and Communication Specialist with a strong track record of turning ideas into impactful, fundable initiatives. With extensive experience in proposal development, donor engagement, and strategic communications, she has successfully secured major grants and built meaningful partnerships across sectors. Maleeha combines her expertise in storytelling with a deep understanding of development priorities to craft compelling narratives, whether through proposals, reports, or digital content. She holds a Master’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication, where she graduated as a Gold Medalist—an achievement that reflects her strong foundation in media, research, and strategic communication. Known for her collaborative approach and attention to detail, she plays a key role in driving organizational growth while ensuring that every message reflects clarity, purpose, and impact.
Human Resource Lead
Rahat Batool is a Human Resources professional with 4.5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development. As HR Lead at the PAGE Foundation, she partners with leadership to drive strategic HR initiatives, strengthen workplace culture, and enhance employee engagement. She brings proven expertise in recruitment, performance management, and policy development, ensuring compliance while fostering inclusive, high-performing teams. With experience across the banking and development sectors, Rahat is skilled in managing teams and improving operational efficiency. Program Manager
Highly accomplished and dedicated education professional with extensive experience in programme management, institutional leadership, and community-based education initiatives across Pakistan. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education, Fatima Tarannum brings strong expertise in strategic programme implementation, direct partner engagement, stakeholder coordination, and expanding access to quality education for underserved communities.
She began her professional career in 2016 with ALIGHT Pakistan and steadily progressed into leadership roles, becoming Senior Program Officer in 2019 and Program Manager in 2023. In her current capacity, Fatima Tarannum leads large-scale education programmes, oversees field operations, manages teams, and works closely with partners and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of initiatives aimed at increasing enrolment and improving education quality for out-of-school children across Pakistan.
In addition to her programme leadership, Fatima Tarannum is actively managing Star School, where she plays a central role in institutional development, administration, and quality assurance. She is directly involved in teacher training and capacity building, strengthening teaching practices and improving student learning outcomes.
Her professional experience also includes collaboration with UN Women on projects supported by the Malala Fund and L’Oréal Fund for Women, contributing to initiatives focused on girls’ education, empowerment, and gender equality. She has further been engaged in the Education Voucher Programme, expanding access to education for disadvantaged children through inclusive approaches.
During her tenure, Fatima Tarannum has been recognised with the “Be Human Cantered” certification and has contributed to large-scale national enrolment campaigns reaching millions of children across Pakistan. She also played a key role in innovative initiatives such as the Muallim Radio Programme in Gilgit during COVID-19, supporting continuity of learning in remote areas.
Fatima Tarannum has represented Pakistan internationally as a delegate in Qatar, engaging in discussions on girls’ education and social development. She has also led and contributed to numerous initiatives including education campaigns, student engagement programmes, community events, and free medical camps for underserved populations.
With a strong commitment to educational equity, leadership development, and community empowerment, Fatima Tarannum continues to work towards creating sustainable impact by improving access to quality education—particularly for girls—while fostering inclusive and resilient education systems.
Technical Expert-Gender, Disability and Inclusion
I am a development professional with over 20 years of experience, including more than 12 years in management roles within the humanitarian and development sector. My work focuses on Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Child Protection, and Women’s Empowerment.
I have worked with well-known organizations such as the International Rescue Committee (IRC), Bedari, AMAL Human Development Network, and Astute Associates. As Training Manager with IRC in Islamabad, I led GBV response and Child Protection interventions in flood-affected areas under the CARE II UNICEF Project. In this role, I designed and facilitated trainings on GBV, Child Protection, case management, and referral pathways for IRC staff, UNICEF partners, and government officials across Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Before joining IRC, I worked with Bedari from 2010 to 2022, where I managed and implemented a wide range of projects. These included GBV prevention and response, child protection, women and girls’ empowerment, youth livelihoods, disability inclusion, prevention of child marriage, post-disaster response, and girls’ education.
I also have international exposure and have represented Bedari in Bangladesh, Nepal, Thailand, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium and Senegal, where I participated in regional and international trainings and meetings on GBV and women’s rights.
With strong experience in capacity building, project design, facilitation, and advocacy, I bring solid technical knowledge and leadership in promoting gender equality and protection. I am passionate about working for the rights of girls and women and believe in creating safe, inclusive, and respectful communities where they can live with dignity and confidence.

Ms. Romana Ahmed is a dedicated Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and Child Protection professional with strong academic and field experience in psychology, community outreach, and child protection and safeguarding. She holds an MS in Psychology from the International Islamic University Islamabad and an MSc in Psychology from the University of Swat, reflecting her strong foundation in mental health and behavioral sciences. Currently serving as a Technical Expert-MHPSS and Child Protection at PAGE Foundation, she has over seven years of experience supporting vulnerable communities through psychosocial interventions, awareness sessions, and safeguarding initiatives. Her professional background also includes experience as Senior MHPSS Officer with PAGE Foundation, an Outreach Worker under the British Council’s AAWAZ II Program, teaching experience, and monitoring support with PHC Global. With expertise in child protection, community engagement, counseling support, and psychosocial well-being, Ms. Romana is committed to promoting safe, inclusive, and supportive environments for children, families, and communities.
Assistant Program Manager
Ms. Shehla Ghazanfar is a dedicated Program and Procurement Professional with extensive experience in project management, procurement, administration, and stakeholder coordination in the development sector. She currently serves as Assistant Program Manager at PAGE Foundation, where she manages donor-funded projects supported by organizations such as DLNFE-Sindh, Malala Fund and IDRF, ensuring effective implementation, compliance, and timely achievement of project goals. With a strong background in education, community development, proposal writing, budget management, training facilitation, and field operations, she has successfully contributed to both humanitarian and development initiatives. Her career also includes experience in procurement management, teaching, and institutional administration, demonstrating her versatility and leadership capabilities. Recognized for her strategic planning, strong communication, and results-driven approach, Ms. Shehla is committed to promoting sustainable development and creating meaningful impact through inclusive and effective programming.
Head of Programmes
Yasir Ilyas is a seasoned development and humanitarian professional with over 18 years of progressive experience in program leadership, humanitarian response, monitoring and evaluation, partnerships, and strategic program development across Pakistan. Currently serving as Head of Programs at PAGE Foundation, he provides strategic leadership for multi-sector development and emergency response initiatives, ensuring high-quality implementation, donor compliance, and sustainable impact. His expertise spans education, livelihoods, WASH, GBV, protection, formal and non-formal education, health, and community development. Throughout his career, he has successfully designed, managed, and expanded donor-funded programs in collaboration with major international partners including USAID, OFDA, BPRM, DFID, UNHCR, UN OCHA, WHO, UNFPA, CIDA, Qatar Foundation, and Education Above All. With strong competencies in proposal development, fundraising, MEAL systems, stakeholder engagement, and institutional partnerships, he has held senior leadership roles with organizations such as PAGE Foundation, Alight International, American Refugee Committee International, and HAASHAR Association. Known for his strategic vision, technical leadership, and results-driven approach, Yasir is committed to advancing inclusive, impactful, and sustainable humanitarian and development programming.

Currently serving as Assistant Manager Finance at Page Foundation, he has built a strong reputation for his integrity, commitment, and consistently high performance. Known for his meticulous approach and results-driven mindset, Haider demonstrates a deep understanding of financial operations and management, contributing effectively to organizational success. Database and M&E Support Officer
Muhammad Raza is a dedicated development professional holding an M.Phil degree from GC University, Faisalabad, and a Master’s degree from the National University of Modern Languages (NUML). With years of diverse experience spanning education, community development, and data management, he consistently applies his knowledge and experience to drive positive outcomes. Currently, he serves as a Data Entry and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Support Officer at PAGE Foundation, where he plays an important role in maintaining data integrity, conducting field visits, writing progress reports, and mobilizing communities for impactful projects.
M&E Lead
Usman Sabir is a senior development professional with over 15 years of experience in program management and Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL). As the M&E focal person at PAGE Foundation, he leads the development of results-based frameworks, strengthens data-driven decision-making, and ensures compliance with donor and organizational standards. He has worked with national and international organizations, including UN agencies, contributing to programs in education, women’s empowerment, youth development, and community empowerment. Usman brings strong expertise in development planning, stakeholder coordination, and capacity building, with a proven track record of delivering effective, evidence-based programming. He holds a master’s degree in economics and is committed to advancing inclusive and sustainable development.
Program Officer
Shair Ali is a dedicated development professional currently serving as a Program Officer at the PAGE Foundation. With over three years of experience in the education sector, he has played a key role in designing, managing, and implementing initiatives focused on increasing access to education for out-of-school children across Pakistan. He has progressed through multiple roles within PAGE, including Program Support Officer, Data Entry Officer, and Database Officer, gaining strong expertise in data management, program coordination, and stakeholder engagement. Shair has contributed to several key projects, including STAR Schools, TRC, WPHF, and Zero Out-of-School Children (OOSC) initiatives, ensuring effective planning, monitoring, and reporting in line with donor requirements. He holds a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from SZABIST, with a focus on Economics, Sociology, Psychology, and Statistics, and remains committed to strengthening education systems and expanding opportunities for marginalized communities.
