Project Description

This project, titled Bat For a Chance, aims to implement a three‑month pilot in two girls’ schools in Islamabad that integrates cricket into the Achieve life‑skills programme. Reaching 50 adolescent girls, the initiative uses structured sports coaching to strengthen confidence, teamwork, leadership, and resilience within safe, school‑based settings, and concludes with an inter‑school cricket festival showcasing learning and participation.

PROJECT DELIVERABLES


  • Delivery of a three month integrated cricket and life skills programme across two selected girls’ schools

  • Engagement of 50 adolescent girls in structured cricket coaching and Achieve life skills learning sessions

  • Deployment of qualified female coaches, with PCB certified supervision, to ensure programme quality, safeguarding, and compliance

  • Implementation of targeted sessions focused on gender equality, teamwork, resilience, leadership, and confidence building

  • Organisation of a six a side inter school cricket tournament in Islamabad.

  • Distribution of medals, certificates, and trophies to recognise participation, achievement, and effort

  • Documentation and analysis of learning outcomes and evidence to inform the national scale up in 2026
