Project Description

This project is an ECW-funded emergency education response designed to support flood-affected children and adolescents in Pakistan.
- Focuses on restoring access to safe, inclusive, and quality education
- Includes school rehabilitation, temporary learning spaces, and learning materials
- Integrates Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), Child Protection, Gender, and Inclusion (PGI)
- Strengthens teachers, school systems, and community engagement
- Targets out-of-school children and vulnerable groups (girls, children with disabilities, minorities)

  • Rehabilitation of schools & temporary classrooms (180 schools)

  • Provision of learning materials to children and teachers

  • Teacher training on MHPSS, PGI, inclusive education

  • Support for children with disabilities (assistive devices, referrals)

  • Enrollment & re-enrollment of out-of-school children

  • School/community capacity building (SMCs, referral systems)

  • MHPSS and protection services for children and communities

  • Awareness sessions and IEC materials for communities and parents

  • Development of referral pathways (GBV, CP, MHPSS)

  • Monitoring, documentation, and reporting systems (MIS)
