Meet Our

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer at PAGE, I lead the organization’s operational and programmatic functions, overseeing multi-location initiatives and supporting the effective translation of strategy into action. We ensure that programs are not only aligned with organizational goals and donor expectations but are also practical, responsive, and grounded in the needs of the communities we serve.

WAJEEHA AHMED

Wajeeha Ahmed brings over a decade of diverse experience in the development sector, shaped by her work across both grassroots communities and multi-stakeholder, donor-funded environments. Beginning her career in field-based roles, she has worked directly with marginalized and refugee communities while also engaging with government counterparts, development partners, and donors—building a well-rounded perspective that bridges on-ground realities with strategic program delivery.
Her early exposure to community-level challenges has deeply informed her understanding of barriers to education, gender equity, and social development. At the same time, her work with national and international stakeholders has strengthened her ability to navigate complex program requirements, partnerships, and accountability frameworks.
Her experience spans program planning and implementation, team leadership, monitoring and evaluation, and stakeholder coordination. She works closely with teams, partners, and institutions to maintain program quality, strengthen systems, and support consistent delivery across diverse contexts.
Wajeeha also brings practical experience in program budgeting and resource management, contributing to transparency and informed decision-making while maintaining operational flexibility.
Her academic background, including an MPhil in Political Science, complements her field experience with a strong understanding of governance and development systems.
“At PAGE, we believe that transforming girls’ education goes beyond simply opening doors—it means creating systems and opportunities where every girl can learn with dignity, grow in confidence, and step into leadership. Through collective efforts with communities, partners, and stakeholders, we are shaping stronger, more resilient futures for all.”
Wajeeha’s leadership reflects a strong combination of grassroots insight and strategic perspective—enabling her to connect communities, systems, and stakeholders in ways that drive meaningful and lasting impact.
