A signing ceremony was held on 31st of December, 2020 at the Federal Ministry of Education & Professional Training to sign an agreement to continue the partnership between Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education – PAGE and the Federal Directorate for Education – FDE for multiple interventions to promote Girls Education, Girls leadership and careers in the ICT schools through Star Schools and Aim High programs. In addition, PAGE will continue working with FDE to improve facilities in girls schools and provide capacity building support to the government teachers. The partnership between FDE & PAGE has been ongoing since 2017 and substantial funding contribution has been made by PAGE to support Federal Minister’s vision to provide high-quality education to all children especially girls.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Federal Secretary for Education Mrs. Farah Hamid, Additional Secretary for Education Mr. Mohyudin Wani, Joint Secretary Mr. Junaid Ikhlaq, Mr. Asif Iqbal Director Innovation & Collaboration, Mr. Kaleem Kamboj Trustee PAGE Board of Directors. The agreement was signed by Director General FDE Mr. Ikram Ali and Executive Director PAGE Mrs. Fajer Rabia Pasha.
