1. Title

Terms of Reference (TOR) for the Translation of the Referral Directory into Urdu under the ECW RSPN Project

2. Objective

The objective of this assignment is to translate the Referral Directory from English into Urdu, ensuring that the translated document is accurate, culturally appropriate and easy to understand for the intended users. The translation will facilitate wider accessibility of referral information among project beneficiaries, stakeholders and service providers while maintaining the integrity and consistency of the original content.

3. Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of documented experience in English-to-Urdu translation.
• Demonstrated experience in translating reports, manuals, guidelines, or publications for development or humanitarian organizations.
• Excellent command of both English and Urdu languages, including technical terminology.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.

4. Eligibility & Required Documents

2. At least three samples of similar translation assignments.
3. Three references (with contact information) from previous clients.
4. Technical proposal describing the translation approach and work plan.
5. Financial proposal.
