[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”13″ display=”basic_slideshow”]We are pleased to announce the inauguration of Star School at Sangjani – Tarnol, Islamabad by Ms. Wajiha Qamar – Parliamentary Secretary for Education on 26th September 2019.
32 girls enrolled in Star School – part of Out-of-School Children campaign – Federal Ministry of Education and Technical Training and Million Kids to School Program lead by Alight Pakistan. Tarnol is an area in Islamabad with the highest number of Out of School children as per the survey of Federal Directorate of Education. Efforts are being made to enroll all children who are still not attending schools.
Present on the occasion were Ms. Fajer Rabia Pasha – Executive Director PAGE and Ms. Madiha Naeem – Program Manager PAGE, Miss Wajiha and Mr. Attique – Alight Pakistan. Ms. Nafeesa Saeed – Teacher Star School, Tarnol.
The School is set up in partnership with Federal Directorate of Education and Alight Pakistan with technical support from JICA.
