Star School Medical Camp
Star School is an initiative of Pakistan Alliance For Girls Education. It works on an exceptional model to provide education to out of school children and currently, 170 children are benefitting from it. Most of the children enrolled in the school belong to Afghan Refugee community and due to the lack of medical facilities in the area Pakistan Alliance of Girls Education in collaboration with the Team of Mohammad Ali Saeed Foundation and Khadija Foundation organized a medical camp on 16th March at StarSchool, I-12, Islamabad.
After a thorough checkup, some students were diagnosed with serious issues and will be going for further tests. Apart from the students’ many other children from the local community also benefited from the medical camp by getting themselves checked and enjoyed refreshment and face paintings that were provided by the team of MASF and Khadija Foundation and we at PAGE are truly grateful to them for their efforts in organizing the camp at our Star school and we would like to thank all the doctors and volunteers who came out to help us in the camp.
