Sada-e-Thal Welfare Organization: STWO (The Voice of Rural Areas) [LSD) is a Local Support Organization and non-government and non-profitable organization striving for development of communities in District Karak KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA, Pakistan regardless discrimination on the basis of race, cast, religion, culture, gender and social status. The organization has ensured the process of participatory development and works with the grassroots level organization. The organization has been established in the year 2007 in Karak, by a group of philanthrapists and social workers who belongs to that disadvantaged area. These volunteers appeared with strong determinations to support the poor and deserving people of the whole district. They joined hands to work together for the uplift and sustainable development of marginalized rural communities through Small Infrastructures, Skill enhancement, capacity building, introduction of modern techniques in the field of agriculture and livestock, education, healthcare, advocacy, Human Rights and Human Resource Development. The Organization was a source of guidance for the other small NGOs and development experts. Though it is registered in 2010 under the Pakistan Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Registration and Control Ordinance 1961 Directorate of Social Welfare Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and also registered with FATA Secrete KPK but has strong roots and acceptability in Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa and FATA.
By the collaboration of community active peoples STWO has established community organizations at village level in target districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA. With rich experience working in FATA the organization has established interest groups that are working to achieve organizational goal.
STWO has also been providing humanitarian assistance to various emergencies situations in community. During the last 9 years of extensive work for the empowerment of its target communities, STWO has developed deeproots and connections with in target communities, local government, private sector organizations, national and International Donor Agencies and Civil Society Networks.
