International Day of the Girl Child 2024 🌍“Elevating Girls' Voices for Sustainable Development” 📚Today, we celebrate the power, strength, and resilience of girls worldwide. At Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education (PAGE), we remain committed to ensuring that every girl has the opportunity to thrive, learn, and become a leader of tomorrow. With 26.2 million children out of school in Pakistan—13.7 million of them girls—it’s time we stand together to change these statistics. Through our Star Schools program, we have taken meaningful steps to empower girls and break down the barriers that prevent them from accessing education. Just in 2024, we enrolled over 6,000 children—of which 3,800 were girls—back into school, giving them a chance to dream again. ✨📖This year’s theme for the International Day of the Girl Child focuses on “Elevating Girls’ Voices for Sustainable Development”. We believe that educating girls is not only a fundamental human right but also a crucial driver of economic growth, peace, and prosperity for communities worldwide. At PAGE, we are on a mission to create a future where no girl is left behind. But we can’t do it alone. Let’s continue to work together to support and uplift girls, ensuring their voices are central in the conversation about sustainable development.Join us in this journey of empowerment, because when we invest in #girls, we invest in a better world.#DayOfTheGirl #girlsempowerment #GenderEquality #PAGE #Pageforall #inclusion ...
